Just ordered a silvertip Brush

The brush actually works really really well for both face lathering and bowl lathering. I tend to work up a lather in a bowl cause i find it easier for myself to tell when its a good enough lather to use.

The brush is not scratchy at all, but does have enough grit to keep the lather going when I apply it on my face. It also holds a ton of lather, but I also tend to overload it. lol.. I like to use a lot of product when I shave to make sure that I have enough cusion and no irritaion. Works out perfect for me. YMMV.. lol.

 

I just ordered my first WD silvertip, because he had one with a pink handle. I don't have SBAD, I have BHAD. I like interesting handles.

What they mean ?

 

SBAD=shaving brush acquisition disorder
BHAD= brush handle acquisition disorder

Yeah we as Americans like to abbreviate EVERYTHING! It annoys the hell outta me with certain things.. lmao

How much time you soak it in hot water before starting the bowl-face lathering ?

 

Usually 3 to 5 mins. I also soak the shave soap that I use for that long as well. I have also soaked it for much less time that that, and havent really noticed a difference. It holds a lot of water.

 

When i ordered my brush it took about 7 days.

 

My WhippedDog brush arrived today. Looks & feels very nice!
