:signs046: You are in the right place, the folks here are very knowledgable and helpful. For me the 30 day rule (just completed mine today actually) presented by GDCarrington was some of, if not the best, advice I received. It can be a challenge, but for me, I am leaps and bounds better with all aspects because I forced myself to stick to it to the end. Enjoy the ride and embrace what appears to be your own AD! (Yes we tend to assist with enabling at times)

    Update:
I tried something slightly new tonight. I'm following the 30 day rule so it's still the EJ89, supermax platinum, and arko. One of my problem spots as far as getting BBS is the lateral part of the upper lip. My ATG pass there seems to catch instead of glide easily like it does on the rest of my face (my under-chin can be the same way). I've been reading about slants and the idea about "slicing" rather than "chopping". So I got brave and tried a "Gillette slide" move on the right side while going ATG: that is I moved the razor medially and up at the same time starting at the outer lip and working in. I didn't get any catching and it gave an extremely close shave. I got three tiny weepers which stopped after my cold rinse. I probably need to lighten the pressure. I was trying to be light but sometimes I feel like if my touch is not firm enough the razor will skip/jump and then really gouge me. This is the closest I've ever been in that spot. I can't feel anything at all even when rubbing ATG on that side. The left side feels fine WTG but can still feel stubble ATG. I will have to experiment more with this. Any thoughts or words of wisdom from anyone?
