They're identical to the Feather blades for the AC DX. The shave is different though. The KAI Captain Sharpblades aren't as sharp as the Feather Super Pros. They just aren't. They're still deadly, but Feathers cut my whiskers like butter. I don't even feel the Feather blade going through them, but the Captains are a little less sharp. I still get great shaves and I can still get about 5 shaves per blade, so the value is unquestionable since Feathers are so expensive. But my whiskers will stand in defiance of the Captains, fighting with the blade a little bit... there's a tiny bit of pulling and a little resistance. Not so much as to interfere with a great shave, but noticeable nonetheless. My whiskers don't even seem to put up a fight with the Feathers... its as though I'm shaving a whiskerless face when I use the Feathers. Not so with the KAIs. If you have the AC and you like the Feather Super Pros, I'd definitely recommend giving the Captains a shot. They're just a lot cheaper and you can get a great shave from them for a really great value. As of yet, the Feather Super Pros and the KAI Captain Sharpblades are the only no-sharpen straight blades from either manufacturer that I've tried. I probably won't bother with the standard Captains for a while. I might give one a try just to see how much of a difference there is, but I like my blades as sharp as they can be.
