I wonder if it's any longer when, in my case, you don't know it got injured in the first place. Also, it's just the kneeCAP, not the whole knee.
Not a doctor, but it seems PT is the first line of treatment these days, then they go from there. Like I said, a long slog. Pain will wear you down, though.

Not great, as I stiill have that limp on the left knee. But I'm OK. The nurse cut back on my Tylenol consumption, we'll see how that goes. Still waiting for my X-ray results.I'm glad at least that I can shower and shave with no problem. I went over 200 libbies again(lbs)as she weighed me at the office. Embarassing. Thanks Sarah
