Spiderman: Homecoming. Meh. Hit the right fanboy notes and none of the leads were even close to bad, but it was kinda lifeless to me. The first McGuire one was more enjoyable. Never saw that last remake series.
Small Is Beautiful: A Tiny House Documentary. I give it an 8/10. I've seen a few docs about tiny houses, and this one delved more into the emotional aspect of living small. Read my writing at https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/ThatAaronGuy
That's just weird enough I might watch it. Not in the blockbuster hall of fame. Budget $11,000,000 (estimated) Opening Weekend $6,957 on 2 Screens Gross $29,296
The Resurrection of Gavin Stone (2016) (10/10) isn't your typical awful Christian movie. Frankenstein (2004 made for TV) (5/10) having read the entire series of books from Dean Koontz this travesty spawned, and thoroughly enjoying them, I can't really understand how awful this film ended up being. A Girl Like Her (2015) (9/10) had a very documentary-like feel to it that surprisingly worked very well for what it was. Read my writing at https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/ThatAaronGuy
I totally forgot about that movie. What a weird one. Drugs had to have been a huge factor in that one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Man vs Snake (2015) I'll give this one 7/10. I've watched a few of these high score retro arcade films, and the common factor in them all that drag down my ratings is the appearance of Billy Mitchell and Walter Day. Like high scores can't happen without either of these irrelevant has-beens having something to do with it... Read my writing at https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/ThatAaronGuy
Pretty entertaining police movie. I really like early Alan Arkin films. He's a good comedic actor. Kind of disappointed in this one. Much more romantic drama than necessary. Added the English poster which is actually more accurate for the plot than the Italian one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
City 40 (2016), a fairly disturbing documentary on Netflix about Russian closed cities and nuclear disasters. I give it a 9/10. Read my writing at https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/ThatAaronGuy
This post makes me want to listen to White Zombie and the Misfits. Hmm, strange. Love those old movie ads.
Wizard Mode (2016). I give it a 10/10. Here I thought I was just gonna watch a doc about pinball. I was impressed with this one, and it's on Netflix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fantastic Planet (English title) Very strange. Interesting but weird. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
