Hacksaw Ridge (watched with my son last night). Better than anticipated; well acted and directed. Amazing story.
I spent the night in the parking lot of the truckstop where this was filmed, and a friend of mine owned one of the Kenworth tractors seen in the background.
Ah dude, that's so awesome. I grew up in Asheville, NC and we would actually pass this stop all the time near Wilmington, when we'd head out to the Banks. It is one of my favorite nostalgic movies. My dad introduced me to the awesome 80's horror genre and I watch it at least once a year.
Starship Troopers Invasion - it's an animated movie, blending the animated series, the live action movie, and a sprinkle of the book. Enjoyable. Airheads - 90s movies were just so fun. Starship Troopers - though it is nothing like the book I still enjoy this movie. And it has a great score. "MI does the dyin fleet just does the flying" Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Currently watching "The Violent Men"(1955). Glenn Ford, Edward G. Robinson, Brian Kieth & Barbara Stanwyck.
I watched Drone on Netflix, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm trying to get into the Sopranos, having a hard time finding time
Bad Santa 2 Not much of a fan of the first one so I wasn't too shocked to not care much for this one either. Kathy Bates was entertaining though and Christina Hendricks is always appreciated. Experiment in Terror Pretty good suspense film starting Glenn Ford, Lee Remick and Ross Martin who stole the movie.
Okja 4/10. Started out ok, and then descended into a badly written propaganda piece for PETA. Fairly AWFUL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Hitman's Bodyguard. It's like Formula 51 ran head first into Dead Pool, with a side of Long Kiss Goodnight. Lots of gun play and chase scenes. Not for weak of heart or tender young ears.
