Watched part of something on YT called Red Planet Mars from the '50s, with a young Peter Graves. Don't recall how I ended up there and still not sure why I stayed for as long as I did.
I lasted exactly 13 minutes and 46 seconds until the actor that played Spiderman drove me nuts and I shut it off.
Reading? With those things they call books right? As long as they have pictures in then they aren't too bad I guess. Actually I have been feeling the same for a while, I need to read more before my brain dies from lack of use. I just need to find a book that appeals to me. I used to read loads but I watch too many films at the moment, maybe I could find a book of The Wanderers... Funny it was Mum that introduced me to the Karate Kid. which of the 3 films did you like the best?
I have to agree, I will only watch the Original versions of the Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio and Noriyuki Morita aka Pat Morita. all of the others are poor re-makes.
Haha im watching godzilla vs. Mecha-godzilla. Love these movies they are so cheesy but fun to watch.my son Iis totally annoyed "really dad I cant watchh this their lips dont match"
There is always audiobooks. There are a number of them on the youtube. I listen to them while I work or do other stuff, it really helps pass the time without requiring full attention.
One of the best movies I've seen in quite some time! The extraordinary adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec. It's a French "fantasy" movie w/ great sense of humor and some good CGI in it. I enjoyed it a lot! Whatever you do don't see a dubbed version - get it in French w/ subtitles. Trailer:
The Great Outdoors with John Candy and Dan Akroyd. This movie has grown on me over the last 25 or so years.
Last night I watched Henry - Portrait of a Serial Killer. It was a low budget film from 1986 starring Michael Rooker (Merle from Walking Dead) that was supposed to be based on the real life serial killers Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole.
Lazy Sunday. Coffee and doing some work from my couch. Sort of watched "The Touch". Hey, I'm down for anything with Michelle Yeoh in it. It was ok...even though I just watched it with one eye. I'd give it 6/10.
Saw the RoboCop remake. What a disappointment that was. It is a completely different story to the original, but is basically boring, mainly due to the lack of formidable enemies. Such a shame, I had high hopes for this film.
A great classic movie. Still disturbing but not NC-17 material anymore by today's standard. Today I watched Queen of Outer Space. A fun cheesy movie from the 50s about a planet ruled by babes. The Wrong Man. A very good Hitchcock movie where Henry Fonda is mistaken for a robber. And Assault on Precinct 13. Fun action yarn from the 70s and not the remake.
Watching Mindhunters whilst eating a cobb salad and dream of steak. It's a ten year old flick with Val Kilmer, etc. Not bad at all really. I'd give it a 7/10. http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/M...3MDEzMjU1MjE@._V1_SY317_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg
