More cerebral than I thought it would be.
    Interesting concept.

Suprising. Very little hokiness, nice subtle spookiness, and a few unexpected jump scares (unlike today's one every 4 minutes).

Solace with Anthony Hopkins. Thematically a blend of several prior films so it's pretty much a predictable, by the numbers movie. But the last 5 minutes almost make up for it. Free on Vudu.

    Yes, Kathy Bates is hot.

    Thanks for pointing it out.

For me music is a huge part of a good movie.
Soundtrack can make a good story to be a great experience.

Here, thanks to Tim on my yesterday SOTD theme (Once Upon a Time in America, Ennio Morricone), some of the best. Great composers (IMHO, Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer are true geniuses), and some of their best works. For sure, some of my favs.

Escape from Sobibor and Fatherland are the two I always think of him in. Well, and that really well known gritty dystopian vision of the future where he's a violent bum with a 12 gauge.
