Watched "Meet the superfan" with Tom Felton. I thought it was a great documentary that took a look at why people can become near obsessed with celebrities and/or certain franchises - and it did it w/out making fun of them.
I watched 5 movies over the last couple days. Ranked in preference: 1. The Theory of Everything - So good. Everything. 2. The Imitation Game - seemed a little over edited 3. American Sniper - needed more editing. 4. Exodus: Gods and Kings - I had to force myself to pay attention at times. ZzZzZ 5. Dumb and Dumber To - It had some good moments but nothing like the first one.
Snow Piercer and I Melt with You Both films have almost 5 star ratings on Netflix and I'm still trying to figure that out. I wouldn't say they were bad movies but they were different.
"The Wonderers" its a greaser movie about street gangs. great movie with the chick from Indiana Jones in it
I saw a episode of the simpsons yesterday where they had to live like they were in the 18oo's and Homer shaved with a straight and cut his face up. people have a misconception that wet shaving is dangerous or inferior to cartridge razors
Horrible Bosses 2. IMO just as great as the first. Sudeikis and Bateman crack me up when they're riffing.
I grew up reading comics like Lucky Luke, Asterix and Obelix, Tintin, etc. Had a great time watching the latest Asterix movie "Le domaine des dieux".
Saw Whiplash yesterday. What a great film. The tension is almost unbearable. Way better than I expected.
