    Bridge of Spies

An excellent film by Spielberg with superb acting by Hanks and Rylance. Good script too!

image.png Star Wars the Force Awakens IMAX 3D. WOW! Went during the week with my bride. No crowd. Now I want all the Star Wars movies in 3D.

Bit of a surprise this one. A two hour long Canadian movie set in Afghanistan focused on three men's perspective on the war.
Relatively low budget but had a lot of 'heart' and a LOT of adrenaline pumping scenes.
It was also interesting to see a Canadian take on the war efforts. Overall rather well done. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Watched Cowspiracy the other day. Quite the eye opening documentary. I haven't eaten any meat since I saw it.

Watched 'San Andreas' today. Quite a similar plot to 2012 in terms of the hero and his relationship with his family. It was entertaining but nothing special.
It's amazing, when I was a kid we wondered how they made Superman fly and marveled at the sight of Star Wars. Now watching the destruction of San Francisco is nothing special. It's a shame to have lost that sense of wonder and amazement.

Oh, I don't know... I was amazed at the effects on Godzilla when they trashed SF.

Sisters....chick flick. Wife found it enjoyable. I found mildly entertaining with regards to some of the 80's dancing etc.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

Yeah, incredibly implausible story line. You can't think about how they get the gasoline for all those vehicles in a wasteland that doesn't have any oil wells or refineries, or how they feed all those people when there aren't any crops anywhere.

Why can't they line up the actor's names with their photos? I'm pretty sure this isn't Peter Sarsgaard.
