Blood Father. For a typical Mel Gibson action flick, it was surprisingly good. I give it an 8 out of 10.

    The new Ghostbusters.
Not great but not as terrible as I thought it would be.
The thing that really ticks me off though is Bill Murray.
He has been the sole holdout for years preventing a Ghostbusters III. In this poor excuse of a reboot he has the most substantial cameo of any of the surviving members and he's the one that refused to do a sequel. I wish he would have been more flexible when Harold Ramis was still alive.

We watched "Star Trek-Beyond" last night. While some of the battle scenes ran too long, on the whole, we liked the movie.

Kind of felt like a Jason Bourne clone. A few slow moments, but overall lots of Bang Bang shoot em up.

Finishing a bottle of wine - pretty poor excuse for a Merlot. I should do better living so close to the wine country here - and watching Chaplin's "The Great Dictator". 10/10

I've enjoyed many Kubrick films, but this title is new to me. Thanks for the clue!

Jim Jarmusch is one of my favorite directors. This one is definitely worth a look. :happy088:

Ok to watch but too long. Tried to bring too much of an emotional aspect to the story. Great special effects. Fair rental for fun, but better choices exists. 6/10.

Moana 3D - Great family flick. Animation amazing and nice adventurous story. I believe the 3D enhanced the viewing experience. 8/10.

"All right, I'm coming out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down."

    One of his best films.

Yeah easily one of his best roles.
