Last night I watched Blood and Black Lace which was a pretty cheesy Italian murder mystery movie. Today was The Honeymoon Killers which was okay though the sound quality was terrible. Then the classic Gojira/Godzilla which was fairly entertaining. Right now we're watching The BFG with the kids. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Bone Tomahawk-it's another modern western that is dark and graphic. It's not for the faint of heart. It stars Kurt Russell.
Is there a worse movie than "Plan 9 from Outer Space"? Yes. "The Giant Claw", 1957. Giant google-eyed rubber bird eats the world.
Saw the new King Kong flick yesterday. Some very neat parts and overall well done but...meh. Completely forgettable music, which was odd. The Godzilla flick a few years back was much better.
Ha ha ha! I was just thinking of this movie. It's one of my favorite from my teenage years. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
"Tender is the Night" with Jason Robards, Jennifer Jones, and Joan Fontaine. For Mark Cross razor research purposes. Meh. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Great selection of movies you've been watching. I didn't quite like it. Didn't feel like I wasted my money (like I kinda did with Ghost in the Shell) but not enough Power Ranger for me. I guess if they were going to make it a franchise it might be better, but i wanted more Morphin' Time! I also didn't really like the Megazord. It didn't look defined. Today I did go see Fate of the Furious. I thought it was a slow start, and some of it was predictable. But the ending was what you expect from these movies. Definitely enjoyable.
Great movie! But, yeah, definitely not for the squeamish. My wife and I saw it together and it she had her eyes closed half the time, lol. Thank you! Felt like reliving some of my old childhood favorites this week. Robot Jox was what got me in to Gundam Wing and all the awesome Mech/Monster movies.
For me it was always Voltron and to a lesser extent BattleTech/RoboTech. I didn't get into Gundam until much later in life, but preferred 08th MS Team and Stardust Memory. And then of course, Pacific Rim...
My 12 year old son came in the room while they were in the cave and I had to forward through some of it
