That would be weird if an "orchestra" had singers as part of it. Course ELO is an exception to what I just said.
If you watched that video, you'd be as impressed with the vocal harmonies as with the instrumental music. I, on the other hand (the fret hand, in this case) am struggling with the G major chord.
I know nothing about ukulele but do know something, well, a little, about the guitar. It looks like you can play it as a bar chord. That said I still can't play an f major barre.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barre_chord Basically you use your first finger to press more than one string.
Is that a "Bass Ukulele" on the right?? Best Ukulele song of all time. Very weird guy though, Tiny Tim. .
To be honest, i just thought it was a Bass Guitar, I didn't know they made Bass Ukeleles. It was a lucky guess. .
Here is an 11-year old me in Hawaii in 1967. In 5th grade we learned Hawaiian history, and learned how to play the ukulele. My class played and sang at a school assembly for parents and some local dignitaries. I'm on the back row, second from the right. I have no idea what happened to that inexpensive instrument, or how to play anything. All I can remember now is the tune that we were taught to tune our instrument -- "My Dog Has Fleas".
