I have 2 really nice ones, one is a vintage japanese cordovan with a raw cotton backing, the cotton.took quote a while to.become usefull. I often combine it with a suede strop, suede after the cotton, before the cordovan. The other is a a dovo juchtenleder, linnen backing. Really Good strop, but never ever put the strop paste on it!!!!!! The difference with the herold branded strops is little to none!
