WOW! There are some kick butt pics here I've been meaning to take pics of brushes that I use. So I use both of these frequently. So I'll start with these that I brought home from the gym to get pics Tryphon 24 mm prototype black pure badger Simpson Chubby 1 Super Milo straightening the brushes for the next shot. Quite the assistant!
Ha Ha! Shaving brush mugshot - nice one Tom! A lot of beautiful brushes guys. :1respect I'll have to post a pic of my two when the camera gets back from being repaired. James.
Here are brushes that I use regularly and I like them a LOT. They are quite different latherers and the feeling on the face. From L: Kent BK8, Erskine, China Silvertip (Delong), EverReady 1000 Pure badger and a real treat to use, Tryphon Pure black badger 24 mm knot - prototype, Simpson Chubby 1 Super, Simpson T4 Super, I haven't seen a Simpson I didn't like, Germany Badger travel brush I like to use the vintage brushes. I find many of them to be great to use. Some brushes that I like and are not pictured are: Simpson Case super, Omega Boar bristle ( shows me that it doesn't need to be badger to be fine), C&E Best Brush (My first good feeling brush)
Being fairly new here, I figure I might as well pull down my pants completely and expose my growing brush collection. There's probably even a few that aren't pictured; we'll save those for another day. There's some Rooney Finest brushes on the left, some Rooney Heritage brushes in the back, some Simpson brushes on the right and a Kent BK4, EJ Silvertip (faux horn) and Shavemac 177 nestled in there somewhere.
Here's my new lineup. All Shavemac! Working on one more flat-top to complete the cast. L-R, 2 silvertips, a pure and a finest on the far right. The finest is better than some silvertips I've owned and the pure is a lather machine with soap.
