So this weekend my wife and I had the joy of seeing my daughter get initiated to the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society Saturday morning. Later that evening we saw the play "The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare - The Abridged Version". Then Sunday morning we had breakfast with her before heading home. Twenty minutes later we received a call from my mother's caretaker, who was checking on on her that she had passed between the morning and late morning visits. So all the way home, after notifying my daughter, I had to process her death while staying focused on the road so we arrived home safely. Now we are running around getting her funeral prepared. Life does indeed make sure you take nothing for granted as she pulls the rug out from under you.
Hard to know of anything that could bring peace in such circumstances. I pray that the God who passes all understanding will give you peace, in His time. I also pray you will have plenty of support from family and friends. My heart goes out to you. Sent from my DROID Turbo using Tapatalk
So sorry for your loss. The Lord bestows something good on you with one hand and then takes something away with the other. There are no words to say. We all have to find peace within ourselves. I understand your grief as I lost my father in September 2015. Time is the only thing that can numb the pain of loss. May she rest in peace.
