The vintage bottles I get off ebay, Etsy, Mercari, yard sales, thrift shops or antique shops. Believe it or not Hobby Lobby has some nice bottles.
Huh, I missed this the first time. @John Beeman posted a photo, too. Have to watch store shelves or order a bottle and try it out! Is it straight up lime or limey (new) Old Spice?
I have both Old Spice limes. The original Shulton and the new India version. I just received the original recently and I haven’t done a comparison. I might have to sniff around a bit later today and report back. I don’t think you’ll find the new version in stores. I think I got mine from WCS.
The India version is much more powdery smelling than the original, especially after dry down. The original is definitely worth having if you can score some at a good price.
If it's still available, our own TSD house version is the best I've ever sniffed. As is the mojito version.
Sadly, I must agree with you! I know nothing about the history of The Shave Den Shop, but it would seem to me, that there are certainly enough members, to help keep it going, that it should still be around. Of course, as I stated, I do not know the history behind it closing.
The TSD shop was owned and operated by JoAnna @Queen of Blades. She is The Owner of this website. As such she keeps the door open for us to discuss Wet Shaving. I have no insight into the finances or how things are going upstairs, but the lights are still on! The Spring Edition of 2019 Support TSD Raffle is currently accepting both item donations & offering ticket for chances to win gear.
Thanks for the Heads-Up! I am aware of the 2019 TSD Raffle and have committed to buying two tickets, very soon now, possible more.
