Wow. Just got mine today - looks superb. Can't stop picking it up, holding it and running it over my face! Its tips feel softer than my 1520 (when dry) and it's not even broken in yet. It's bigger than I usually like, but feels great in the hand! I think I can tolerate a longer loft in boar as they are more resilient and don't splay out as much. I can't wait to use it! John
With the kids and grandkids, this isn't a December project for me, so I'm forced to wait, hoping there might be one left over in another month. Beautiful brush, no doubt! And I do have a backup plan in mind, depending on what other brushes might be in stock at the time, but I'm really hoping the LE might be a possibility when the time comes. We'll see!
From your descriptions, it sounds like this 'loftier' brush will nicely complement the shorter model 1520, both in appearance and functionality. I'm watching my mailbox...
