Meanwhile, here in the midwest...

 

We just ride in the comfy seats of our toe trucks 'round these parts. However, we allow VIPs to sit atop the big toe during parades and such.

I don't want to sound like a toe-it-all, but even if I found $50, I'd still be out a few bucks on the toe charge. My last pedi cost me $75. Yeah, it stinks, but my insurance won't cover toes.

 

Neither will flip-flops. That's why I wear socks.

I have footwear similar to your picture, but to me, they pass as "flip shoes". I wear them in hot weather(with socks, like in your picture).
