I can't wait. Should we bring items to trade? Any show-and-tell opportunities? Swapping new blades with others in order to get an idea of what they're like sounds like fun.
I think the more stuff we have for "show and tell" the better. I shave with a straight, but am thinking seriously about venturing into DE shaving as well, so I'm really interested in what you other fellows are doing and how you're doing it, regardless of what you use. And if anyone has anything they'd like to trade or sell, by all means bring it, as far as I'm concerned. The more the merrier!
I am all for swapping blades. I don't have a varied selection- mainly red pack IPs and Crystals, but I'm always looking to try new blades. I do have a micromatic I'd be willing to trade/ give away. I like the shaves it gives but I don't have the time to use it.
Good ideas. I am bringing a "door prize" for each person. I will bring some blades and razors for swap/loan. Might I suggest that we each bring our favorite setup for show and tell?
sure. I'm taking this to mean razor and blades? I don't think my soap, mug, and brush would travel very well.
As for blades, I have red Personnas and the newer Derbys. I haven't opened the Derby box yet, but I guess that these blades are individually wrapped as are the Personnas. I would surely be happy to trade some of these for any blades at all that would be new to me, and these of interest to someone else. My stuff is, otherwise, very meager at this point —*only VDH soap and an inexpensive brush to go along with my Merkur Progress, but I'll be glad to bring this if no one else has seen one of these in the flesh.

Agreed to the OK from sffone. The person PM'ed me @ B&B when he saw I live in BR, I suggested he ought to join over here, but he, apparently, chose not to join TSD. I'll PM him again & ask him to speak for himself here.
The shaver from Watson -- Tim's his name -- said he cannot make it the 24th. So, unless someone else from Southwest Mississippi gets wind of this little shindig, I guess it's just us.
