I went with the mint, I love that smell, I'm thinking about adding a few more drops of it into my pso but I can already feel the heat from it.

I've come to this thread late, but would like to add my comments about my favourite, very cheap soap. I use a Palmolive stick which I squashed into the soap bowl I use to load my brush. Once my brush is loaded, I can either bowl lather, which I enjoy, or I can face lather. Both work exceptionally well and I get great lather by pouring warm water onto the soap for 30 seconds before I'm ready to load the brush, then tip it out and off I go. It has lasted for absolutely ages and it is no-where near running out. Seriously it is good value. The smell is pleasantly soapy, so it won't clash with any after shave product and it is very moisturising, so you may find you save money on a pre-shave. I hope this helps.

This is how I use my Palmolive stick too. I have four sticks that I have grated and packed into an empty TOBS soap tub. Love Palmolive.

I'm hesitant to mention it since I have no experience with the product or the sellers but on the auction site a search for Old Spice Shaving Cream will bring up a number of offers for tubes of Old Spice shaving cream from India. I'm not sure how economical it is based on how much you get but it's not a big outlay to try it. If you try it be sure to make sure you're getting free shipping and the original scent (they have several scents).
