Low quality shaving thread #2234774: What to use next? Or what is your fall-back setup?

I shave in the evening. (Don't judge me)

I used my blade up last night (4 shaves, Personna blue), so it is time for a new set up.
I have no idea what i want to use tonight. I try to match my compliments to current events etc but today i am at a loss.

I suppose then that i would go to my fall-back set up. However i don't have one lol.

Dang it.

Lets do 1st's then.

1st Brush: A tragedy of cheap wood and guitar stings. No thanks. Its used to clean my razors and even then its a bit harsh. What came next? Body shop brush. Twas ok. i've much better now butit is not unusable.

1st Soap: Hmm. Hard to remember... Ah ha! The golden hand! Very workmanlike but usable soap. I haven't used it for a while. Good call

1st Razor: Gillette Ball end tech. Alas, mysteriously disappeared from the bathroom never to be seen again. Aliens? Ghosts? the dog? I will never find out lol. What came next then? Wilkinson sword black. PIFFed. Bugger, right, what came after that? The Ming-Shi- face grater! I still have it (gulp). I shall use that.

1st razor blades: Wilkinson swords. ooof. They hate me. I still have some though (booo) so in the interest of science, WS blades it is.

1st A/S or Balm: Imperial Leather. Still have it. It is so old it may kill me but needs must.

My Shave of the day so:

Razor: Ming Shi
Blades: WS
Soap: The golden hand
Brush: Body shop
A/S: Imperial leather.

This should be interesting lol....

 

1st brush - secondhand Omega boar from a friend, nicely worn in, still use it all the time
1st soap - Arko, still use it all the time
1st razor - Dorco superspeed knockoff, ok razor but never use it since I got my Rocket
1st blades - sampler from Amazon, first ones I tried were Astra SP and Derby extra
1st AS - Nivea sensitive balm, still use it sometimes, generally just if I shave at night.

I still have all these except the blades so I could do the same activity as you (but I likely won't)
