Lucite restore

    What BEAUTIFUL restorations! I love Lucite handles. I'm sure it's take lots of time and patience, but the out come is worth it. Your friend is very lucky.:happy088:

    Knot came for the fuller today. 22mm Whipped Dog silvertip!

    That did work really well! I did a 500N and you bet it was a chore getting the knot out. I used red for mine but the blue looks great!

    On similar projects I've used a silver Sharpie. Hit just the letters, let it dry (a matter of seconds), then very lightly use an cloth barely dampened with alcohol to rub over the letters to remove excess ink. Hit it with a layer or three of a suitable clearcoat and it's good to go. Rub n Buff is great stuff indeed but you have to hunt it down to get it. Great restoration!
