Give those soaps a try Mark. Go to town when load them up and don't hold back. The lather is good. I'm just not a fan of floral scents, which is why that new puck was added to the box. But I have the sandalwood and it's legit. Glycerin based soaps generally get a bad rap, but I have no problem using mama bear soaps.

My fiance Said she was going to try the Lily one but she fell asleep before she made it to the shower. I'll try the black code tomorrow.

  3. Perfect explanation, and thank you! I have heard some people say that some soft soaps perform better when used frequently so I was not sure if this was a hydration thing and if it was what you were referring to....

Great. As far as the actual puck..it's already firm, but blooming the soap with some hot water should project the scent and soften the top lather which would make loading your brush easier.

Mama Bear never worked for me. I think, and may be wrong, this a "cold pour" glycerin soap....none have ever worked for me. Good scents...just did not care for the formulation.

I helped my fiance lather up a bowl full of stargazer lily today and it was amazing. Good strong scent, thick easy lather that wanted to Stay wet and it had glide and protection to spare. I'm shaving tomorrow morning in a rare morning shave so Ill try black code type then for myself. I face lather.
