Day 2 with Dovo Master's, Route 66 and Thäter 2 band Decided to go hot lather to start off a cold day and R66 performed great under the heat. R66 makes a very wet, slick lather but it ended up everywhere all over my chest, sink and walls. Since it was less than 24 hours after a very close shave I did not expect an epic shave. I finished just short of dolphin smooth and gave my self a good sized weeper. Irritation A- Closeness A- Smoothness A Sharpness A
I will ignore your tip and go with a long shot, plus because of you is on its way to me now..... Kent BK12. Go big or go home.
Shaving with that thing was something else, that's all I can say. Can't wait to hear what you think. And that brush actually has a good shot. I mean, no way would I just say it is my favorite, but when you break it down into categories, it really kind of kicked ass in all of them.
JUST COPY THE POST AND ADD YOUR PICK 1.) mrchick - #8, 82/90 2) keithmax #16 Kent BK12 84/90 3) hodge #5, 80/90 (#5 was an obvious pick for me.....see avatar)
Just under the jawline is where I seem to be messing up the most right now. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
March 2, 2017AlumiGoose V1 with Triad SSFeather Pro (5)Rudy Vey Rover with TGN FinestReef Point Dragon’s Blood This week has been a real joy thus far. The hardware and software combo are consistently delivering smooth drama free shaves and this morning was one more in the string. I finished off the shave with a splash of Floid Blue and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday.
Are you stretching your skin? I don't have too jowly of a face, and I can pretty much pull that part of my face up a bit where I can get it on the flat of my jaw. That ended my jaw being a trouble spot.
I really like that brush, Clint. Rudy Vey does such nice work. He is definitely the next custom I want.
March 2 SOTD: Omega Boar Brush Cella Ever-Ready 1914 Stirling Unscented PSB Aqua Velva Musk AS Day two of my No Focus Focus, and I pulled out another soap that just doesn't get much use. Cella isn't a bad soap, I just don't use it to often. It set the stage for a very nice Thursday morning shave with the 1914. I hope everyone has a great day!
Thank you Jared. Rudy does do some really nice work and he is a true pleasure to work with in getting just the brush you want. Thank you, Jim.
Second day of using the Avon 4 Men Maxwell 23 "Tribute" aftershave....(Raffle prize). It's nice indeed. There'll be plenty of it around to try in the summer-I'd love for it to be an all-year fragrance.
Jared, Could we ask for a photo of the brushes? I am not familiar with most of them. Group shots, in order, would be fine.
