Day 4 with same set up: Dovo Master's, Route 66 and Thäter 2 band

The planets aligned today, it is Saturday and we have our semi-annual employee meeting so I have a presentation to give as well as socialise with all our employees. Normal on a day like to today I would use the holy hand grenade of Antioch but I was feeling cocky and decided to go ahead and shave with my Dovo Master's, I figured after 4 days with the same set up I should be able to nail this shave.

Never under estimate the power of loading heavy. I scooped several slivers into the scuttle and loaded the brush in the tub, I was rewarded with lots and lots wet slick lather. The brush and soap are a great combo and the more I use R66 the more I feel this soap is great for straights.

Even after allot of shaves for me, 5, the edge feels silky smooth. Lather was dripping every where because it was so wet. After 2 passes I decided to do 10 quick laps on the strop, and then after the 3rd pass I did the same. After 4 passes all was right with my shaving world and I still had time and lots of lather so a quick extra WTG pass to wrap things up.

While it was tough using the same set up four days in row I have to credit the consistent usage and the 30 Day Thread crew for an epic shave. No blood, no irritation and dolphin smooth, the long lasting kind.

Sunday will be an off focus shave with a new razor that just returned from Glen
