I don't believe I've tried that variety yet. The Tagalong knockoffs are wonderful - and, if memory serves, the thin mint ones are quite tasty as well. I'll likely get a variety this weekend. I ran out of the peanut butter cookies yesterday. :angry019:

Friday at last. This week has been very busy but productive. At least I was able to get in a fantastic shave this morning. I just adore the scent of Colonia and the DK7 makes face lathering a true joy. Three passes and touch ups left me with a near perfect shave. As usual my lower right neck was my nemesis. A splash of mentholated Thayer's witch hazel followed by the matching Colonia Aftershave and I am ready for another busy day. Maya finishes up mid terms today and will be home for spring break tonight. Unfortunately, she has hip surgery scheduled on Monday. Looks like next week will be another busy one. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    Razor: Blackbird OC
    Blade: Nacet (1)
    Brush: Grizzly Bay MaxFury
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: Oleo Soapworks New City
    Lucky Tiger face tonic
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: Oleo Soapworks New City

    Good morning!

Awesome shave to start the day! Two passes with very little touch up left me near BBS. Slight tickle from the alum.

Love the Blackbird! Super efficient razor with a lot of blade feel. I could have easily walked out the door after the first pass with a damn fine shave.

First use of the Oleo Canard soap. I need more uses to get it dialed in. Wonderful scent!

    Have a great Friday![IMG]

A fine shave this morning with the Regiment Reveille. As you know, I've been talkinabout the ingredient Bentonite Clay in shave soaps. In the Grandpa's Barbershop(Central Texas Soaps), it appears in chunks, and someone here suggested that it shouldn't look like that, it should be spread out more in the puck. In the Regiment soap it is spread out. Perhaps due to the puck size being only 3.5, whereas it was easier to "chunk it" at the larger size(5 oz) Central Texas Soaps. Course they took it out at CTS recently. I realized I need a smaller brush for Regiment soaps, as a lot of it went "overboard" this morning. Will be back at it tomorrow with the Regiment.
