Thanks gentlemen. I appreciate the kind words. I am definitely ready to try some different soaps or creams.
Agreed on the bikes, Jason. You must have a baseball or playing card in the spokes. When I was a kid, nobody had hockey cards 'round these parts. :)

This all-original 1971 5-speed Schwinn Stingray below reportedly sold a few years ago on the bay for $3800. What a beauty! None of the kids in my neighborhood had one like this. Most of our bikes were well-worn and/or refurbs. A buddy and I made a few bucks buying old bikes and push mowers, fixing them up, and selling them. (With some help, we even fixed up an old Honda CB175 that we bought for $40.) On the bikes, we often replaced tires and seats, repacked front bearings, sanded, primed & repainted the frames, and used steel wool to clean up rusty chrome. An older gentlemen in the next neighborhood could even straighten the rims if needed. I've also been involved in some bike ramp building projects. ;)

Good times, for sure, and we learned a lot.

Regarding photos, I do my best to stay out of them. This goes double for when I'm in the shave den. :)

Hi Guys! It's not a shave day for me because my slight stubble doesn't warrant it. I am sorry that this post isn't in line with the thread, but it is shave related. I had bought my Herder from Ebay, but it did not come in a coffin. The seller had it wrapped in a plastic sleeve and to me that's not good enough to secure it. So, I thought about it and wondered how am I going to comfortably store my 9 straights in a safe and secure area without taking up space and also to be able to transport them in one shot. I went to CVS pharmacy and found a plastic schoolbox that has 2 sided divided storage compartments. On one side, I am able to store 8 razors and on the other side I can place the razor that I would be using that day or consecutive shaving days. It's lightweight and easy to carry. Sometimes, I amaze myself in finding things that fits my needs. So my question to you fellows who have lots of straights, how do you store them?

These comments always send me off on a quest to get descriptions.
"Beaudelaire is Barrister and Mann's much-loved (and recently re-released) fragrance that marries light and dark, sweet and bitter, clean and dirty, nice and naughty. It starts with the classic fougere accord known for its notes of lavender, oakmoss, and coumarin which give it a green, clean, fresh appeal. Then it is blended with Barrister and Mann's own recreation of Mousse de Saxe, a unique, richly bitter aroma of dusky, leathery, decadent charm. Along with ylang, ylang, rose, and sandalwood, this aroma is dark, soapy, and irresistible. Like the controversial poet, Charles Beaudelaire, this scent symbolizes elegance and debauchery, sweetness and sin."

As I recall it was decided they are off the same production line, but sold in different presentation boxes.

Glad you liked that one Clint. I got involved in placing samples in several TSD members hands to review. Member @KUSTOM is the maker, or atleast the supplier of the tallow. I like a Barbershop scent so I'm curious.

    Day 56.

So it's March, and my focus isn't changing. I'm doing the 100 day focus, don't ya know. And a 365 day focus on reducing the heap. Come Sunday, the La Toja stick should be done. This bottle of Pitralon is also down to maybe 3/8". After the stick, I'll get to work on a half-gone puck of Haslinger Ringelblumen.

As for today, it was three passes with the Ralf Aust, touchups with the Fatip Piccolo. Then a healthy splash of Pitralon that I "glacialed" for myself, and I didn't need any coffee after that!

Check with your local cigar shop. They tend to sell single sticks, so the shop will keep the box. Many have a pile of nice wooden boxes and some have Girl Scout cookie type dividers that are SR sized.

Rick, I am not a cigar smoker so it didn't dawn on me that a cigar box is a viable solution in storing razors. Thanks for the idea!

Glad to have you @b1hart! As I recall you've Ghosted the forum for a while so you may be familiar with some of the inside jokes and Shenanigans. Don't be shy! Ask questions, wax eloquent during your shave reports, let what's left of your hair down. We're all friends here in The 30DC.
