    I suggest a drier brush (just soak it and squeeze out the excess H2O) and load the soap right into the breach of the knot. Take it to the face and work it. It'll be pasty. Then SLOWLY add a few drops of water to the brush. Continue to face lather. Add enough water until you reach the consistency you want.

    54th focus shave

    I enjoyed possibly the best-ever two pass shave with my Parker SRX this morning. I'm finally getting my trouble spots (mouth area and chin) DE smooth. The Soap (Cream) Destroyer and the C.O. Bigelow teamed up for a fantastic lather. I finished with two old school classics - Clubman and Aramis.

    Woke up this morning not feeling all that well. Runny nose, sore throat etc. Had a nice shave regardless. Everything worked as it should and I had an event-free 3 pass shave. Went to work, and felt worse. Cancelled my meetings today and came home. Lying down, stressing out a bit over what I’ll miss at work, pity parting, and reading through some of the thread. I guess catching up on here a bit is the silver lining.
