  1. Thank you, Jason! My kids are in spring break, and I too the day off for that. I am not sure how I tweaked it, but I haven't had this much back problems in a few years.

  5. Excellent, excellent set up and shave, Evan--so glad to hear that a new blade was all it took to get things back to normal! :D

  6. Terrific picture, Tim! Your approach of saving the multiple pass, smooth shave for special occasions is a good one.

  9. Thanks, Jason! :D

My big focus is trying to eliminate all irritation from my shaves, even if I sacrifice a small amount of closeness to do it (although the best of both worlds is an admirable goal for sure ;))

  10. Thank you, Tim. I took a chunk of Maple that had a 'live edge' (not milled- just like the outside of the tree)and cut it into 3 pieces. I put them in forms so that resin could be added. I then poured blue resin onto the 3 'blanks'. The resin will meld to the live edge quite well. I then turned them obviously. I believe I documented it at the time in the Brushmakers Forum.
I kept one, raffled one off which @b1hart won, and sent one to @Linuxguile to try and make the generosity thing a 2 way street.
  11. Thank you, Jim. I like how the brush handle turned out, but I must say I am not as huge a fan of the Zenith knot as others. I still enjoy a scritchy Omega Pro, break in period and all...

  13. :) BTW, I asked my daughter if I could post pictures of her dice. According to her, they're not ready yet.

  14. What are you doing for it, Jim? My Bride has had good success following along with this gal on her yoga moves.

  16. Much appreciated Tim. :). I wonder what Elvis would have been like at my age(62).

  17. Doing it over with my current knowledge on shaving, I might only have shavettes and my Supply injector.

On knives, I'd make no changes. I'm not finished with a knife unless effortlessly shreds paper, slices tomatoes, and slices bread.
