    Nice start.

    When I took up the 100 day open edge, I committed 1 hr. of time per shave. On the first shaves I came close to using it. Now, a shavette shave consumes minimal time. Don't rush it, it will come.

    I stick with s/n and n/s strokes on the neck. Another area that result will improve with in time.

    Don't push blades. A new blade every day will keep things consistent.

    My pace was a little slower than yours. It was 2 weeks (14 shaves) before I was ready to commit to not backing up partial open edge shaves with another tool.

    No, not an original member but I was treated like one from the beginning. I wandered in here hoping to improve my technique enough that I could shave every other day instead of the once or twice a week that I was doing. My skin was just way too sensitive to shave any more than that.

    The improved shaves were a secondary benefit. I would have never guessed two years ago that I would even get to the point where I could remember everyone's name. Now I consider the 30DC members, past and present, to be true friends. I most definitely (no copyright infringement here) feel lucky to be a part of this group.
