A very good shave this morning. I was back with the Classic Two soap from Tallow&Steel. 0:25 at the loading dock for the Maggard brush(Marble Handle). I later went for 5 more seconds, to get more soap(lather)on. Very routine all over. I had to keep re-spreading over certain areas to get them more moist. Porcupine Alley looked and felt great. I should have spent a little more time down at Cactus Nation, near the ingrown hairs. But it was all right. Time for the administering of the YSL Rive Gauche. I found the pour spout to be a little to big, thus I had to be real careful getting it out(just as with Aqua Velva). Still too much came out-enough to cover my whole face&neck with just one pour. Real nice. Doc St. Laurent does most excellent with his aftershaves. I just have to be more careful with pouring in the future. What's the idea of these large spouts anyway??? Outta This World Excellent.

Awesome lather this morning. The RR 400 made quick work of the Imperial......good thick and slick stuff.

The Yaqi artist club razor is just a joy to drive. It is almost feels like a surgical instrument rather than a razor due to its slim head and thin handle. Three smooth passes and I'll call this one a BBS.

A little witch hazel followed up with the Irish Chestnut cologne and I am ready for Tuesday.

    HAPPY Tuesday everyone.

Very nice Jim! As a retiree, you don't have to shave everyday unless you want to do so. Have a great day!

Paul, I think Danny is needling you or he may also might have wanted to put the idea of someone piffing you a knot.

Evan's handles need to be seen and not hid away. We have got to get your handle knotted up.

Kind of like a beautiful woman, flower or a sunset. They need to be seen and appreciated.

Nobody puts baby in the corner. :D

Now if we can get you to post some pictures. ;)

    Razor: Thiers-Issard Super Gnome Extra
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Loose Screw Uncomfortably Numb (1508.5)
    Aftershave: Stirling Sandalwood

    Stirling Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

What a way to start a chilly morning with a iced water shave. The recently honed TI delivered a super smooth and comfortable shave. This razor, my first straight purchased about 19 years ago, will always have a sentimental place in my den. Even though I purchased it 19 years ago, I did not use it consistently until three years ago. Since that time, my straight razor journey has transformed from an awkward approach with numerous weeper and cuts to a confident, but respectful shave process.
This morning's three pass shave was nothing less than stellar with extreme closeness. The Stirling Sandalwood provided a nice compliment to the soap.

Regarding the school front, I will be back in the classroom on Friday. This virtual learning is for the birds :signs131: , however, the practice run of the MOLC is a wonderful tease to the upcoming Fall and beyond. :bounce017: Have a great day gentlemen.
