    I completely understand Paul! I have been fortunate that I have picked scents that I liked, but I did take a chance on Arko, Tabac and the Veg. Stirling's Frankincense and Myrrh would be my least favorite scent, but I am not put off by it. I get disappointed with low scent strength.

    I just received my first "challenge" to keeping or blowing my NB year. It was an e-mail about an Oud perfume with some dark chocolate involved in the persuasion. My current Oud(AgadirMen)is getting a bit low, to the point that I may have to make a serious decision before the year is out. This new Oud(just out today) is from Swiss Arabian Perfumes(USA). I think it came to me from ScentGrail,a perfume co. in Croatia, whose e-mail list I signed on to a few days ago. I'm going to hang on to this e-mail for the rest of the year and meanwhile see how the Agadir is doing. I think the Agadir is the better deal, but the fellas at Swiss Arabian probably make some real fancy stuff. DECISIONS, DECISIONS....!

    This is how I’m spending a good part of my Sunday. It’s been an ongoing project.

    After I got Mom up and ready for the day , I headed outside. My stepdad will let me know if I’m needed inside.

    Will have to be a late evening shave tonight.

    But...this old pine log will eventually become ashes.
