    Thanks, Joe!

    Not a lot more for me to do until the floors are done. The carpet and baseboards will be demo'd this week. The hardwood will be delivered next week to acclimate to the house and the work will be done the following week. I'm probably going to paint the master bedroom after the demo and before the new floors are installed if my wife can decide on a color.

    I’m sorry, Jason! I didn’t mean to sound curmudgeonly, but why can’t they teach mathematics based on fundamentals of arithmetic! This “every mathematical outing is an adventure” stuff is ridiculous. I had my 7 yr old granddaughter memorize the times tables through 25 the way I learned along with a host of arithmetic shortcuts, and got complaints from her teacher who implied it was somehow intellectual/mental abuse! Go figure! I think the real issue is that a 7 yr old could now out calculate her teacher! Hah! :cool:

    I love it when I go to the grocery store and the cashier can not figure out how much change to give me especially when I give additional money so that I get a five or ten dollar bill in return.
