I haven’t posted any shaves since Saturday. It wasn’t my intention to miss a good chunk of MAYhem, but that is how life (and work in particular) has gone for most of this month.
On Monday, I finished off my mini Red Tip vs Aristocrat Jr comparison. I’d put the Red Tip slightly ahead, actually. Both delivered fantastic 3 pass shaves, I prefer the balance of the Red Tip and the handle texture/diameter, fwiw. Splitting hairs, but the shaves with both leave very little to no room for improvement. Both are keepers and hopefully will be with me for a very long time.
The past two days I switched up to a G4 ‘66’ Schick as it had been quite some time since I last used an injector. Two more great shaves.
I think most all the shavers in my den are giving me shaves that are consistently top shelf. I might focus next month on revisiting one or two I’m not sure of, to see whether they stay in the den.
I’m not even going to pretend to get caught up, but will try to join in from here forward. I can read the Shavey Award thread to find out what MAYhem has wrought.

Just to let you know, I am still around. I've been very "head down" during working hours and haven't really been up to a lot of posting in the evenings. Been trying to keep up with you all the best I can.

ATM, I'm two shaves in with a post-War Canadian Tech and a 7 o'Clock Indian Green, having retired the vintage Spoiler after 9 shaves. I did put aside the mystery soap in favor of trying to finish off the puck of Williams that I've been using for a while.

A repeat of my AgadirMen products this morning. I got a bit more of the invisible gel on, but it's such an odd thing to rub my hand across my face and neck and see NOTHING. But the whiskers do come off with the shave, so you do accomplish your task. I found out yesterday the aftershave wears off after about 8 hours. I'm going to try this in the summertime, as there is that "cooling" sensation as you apply it(the A.S.). Next time with this combination, I',m going to pour out even more of the gel. I must go in with the feeling of "Yeah, I know....it feels odd, but don't worry, it works."

I shall not covet.....I shall not covet....I shall not covet. Seriously Clint she is a beautiful razor and I am proud for you. The picture is amazing and it sounds like an amazing shaver when you get her dialed in. I was telling my wife about the razor and showed her a picture of it and I told her the price. She said why don't you get one. I then picked myself up off of the floor. There may be one in my future but it will be a little ways out. I may have to start a Tatara razor fund jar. Congratulations she is AWESOME!

Interesting, I'll have to give it some thought. I have a handle with a cracked tube I can look at. I don't know how it would look because you would have to glue the acrylic to the ends and you may be able to see the glue. If you use enough glue and the right kind of glue the glue may "disappear" in the area.
