Awesome shave this morning with some solid hitters. Started out with a Voskhod that was used but it was just too tuggy so I switched to an Astra SP. The Astra was a lot smoother. I must have had more mileage on the Voskhod than I realized.

I have not shaved with the Karve in a while so I felt it was time to get it of the box. The more I use the OC the more I like it. No weepers or nicks and the alum was quiet this morning. The last few times I have been using the Karve a little visitor would crawl into the bathroom and quickly crawl out, eluding me to no avail. I can honestly say that I caught the little visitor this morning. That rights guys, I caught the baby!

I finished up with some Nivea post balm and Stirling Noir aftershave. I am smelling pretty and feeling pretty!

This may not have been a Joseph @Primotenore shave but it was bumping it!

2.5 passes for another DFS. Couple weepers around the mouth. The Feather Pro Guard blade is extremely unforgiving with landing and not moving.... Nothing that the Gentleman Jon alum couldn't handle.

The Ginger's Garden Fougere Fern SS is a little more 'woodsy' than the WK Fougere Bouquet, making perfect sense for the labeling between the two (Fern vs Bouquet). Still, quite a nice Fougere, and the Zenith Boar made great slick lather to swipe off. The AS from this artisan is different from any I have, as it includes Aloe and Witch Hazel, which makes for a very slick application. Great skin feel. Might have to try it as a PreShave, as I've seen some wet shavers do with Aloe.

A bit better image of the handle wrapping on the Feather. I used clear fingernail polish to stabilize the knot and last 5 wraps (@Hembree ). Easily removed when I get some black or red paracord.

About to have the busiest 5 day weekend this year for work. Thanks everyone for the comments and compliments. Hard to respond individually for the next week or so with the work load, (just enough time to read). No complaints, just busy.

I ordered only the F plates, I like my razors aggressive. It is the Green Vetiver, I’m very happy with the performance of this soap.

The razor looks great with wrapping.
