    Iknow that the dyed knot is a deal breaker for some people. I don't feel that strongly about it, but it is second choice for me.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAnd they're off for the running of the Survey Derby! Regular idiots jumps to the lead at 46.7. Cookies Duffnuts&Ice Cream is in a tie for second with Just Gonna Shave, at 43. Sometimes Idiot can't be counted out at 36. Shavey Award Idiot next to last at 6, and New And Watching The Rest Of The Idiots has not yet moved an INCH. What an idiot.

    My Bride and I love going to Churchill Downs occasionally...but never on Derby Day due to the crowds. We went with a group last year after the Derby and sat in a box near the Finish Line. We're not bettors, but we had a great time watching the races, eating, and having fun with the group. We're going again next month.

    Thanks, Charlie! It has been a terrific weekend so far. I've been getting caught up around the house. The only thing left on the agenda is getting fertilizer down. The granddogs are still here so I'm putting that off until they go home.

    Maya is doing pretty well. She finished up with finals Thursday and got home yesterday. She is walking without crutches but still has a little pain at night. Hopefully with strength training this summer she will continue to improve. Maya is volunteering at Canine Assistance this summer with their vet. She needs 1500 hours of work with a vet before applying to vet schools.
