I'm glad your day went well, Clint. Thankfully, I averted a last-minute disaster. Moments before my home haircut, I realized that I had no Clubman talc in the house! As you know, a lock down haircut is not complete without a good neck dusting of Clubman. Thankfully, I borrowed some from the neighbor.



I feel for the guy. He has a big family. I don't know how he affords so many Clubman products.

I'm ready to go for tomorrow. At least I won't have to worry about flying insects for the next few days.

 

@jgreenepa - I'm up for a Zoom or FaceTime chat some evening if it comes to pass for the group. It would be worth it just to hear @Trigger's NY accent. I could probably entertain everyone with my accent too.

 

I'm not a Zoom expert, but I think you could call in and join by voice only, Joe.

Joe, where’s that Bensonhurst (Bensonhoist!) accent. You speak perfect middle atlantic speech. I haven’t lived in the NY metropolitan area for 50 yrs and have a stronger accent than you, my friend! Maybe it’s my Philly accent!

 

Despite the set down glitch, it still sounds like a great shave, Tim. You are fast becoming a member of the straight shaving gang! Way to go!

Another great Sabre shave! I notice that you keep achieving near BBS shaves. Is that because of irritation or lack of interest in reaching a pure BBS? Just curious!

 

Thank you for the compliment Jeff! I say this humbly and I mentioned it earlier today that I have been told that I have perfect diction. I also believe that because I am an educated man that my NY speech pattern is not as strong as others. That is not to say that if I go out of the Tri-State area, people will not notice my NY accent. I have been to Philly, San Fran and Florida and people remark about my NY accent. I think it is great that different regions of our country have different accents and mannerisms because it would be boring otherwise.
