Thank you Tim! The #386 is my top dog. However, my C-Mon brush is a great standby. Satsuma has a strong scent off the puck and it doesn't disappear while lathering. If you are into citrusy scents, this soap will not disappoint. The Böker is very easy to use and light in the hand. The round toe makes me shave on autopilot because I don't have to worry about sticking myself on landing or poking my ear lobe. I know you have a vintage razor, but I don't remember if it was a square or round point. I recommend that you use a 5/8 round point straight razor because of the reasons that I just gave.

Thanks Jeff! My modern straights are mostly smaller blades with roundpoints, unlike some of my vintage ones. It means that I will be on autopilot for most of the month.

Chilled, Terror-aided Coconut Bay lather sounds like the perfect summertime Saturday shave. The chilled scuttle is an awesome idea. My first application of iced lather is wonderful. The next is cold. The last is cool. Still thoroughly enjoyable, but not nearly as as good as 'wonderful' × 3
