Wow, Dave! Now that's getting your money's worth out of a free styptic pencil!

Happy Thursday Everyone. I changed the hardware up today and went with the Feather AS-D2. I am so glad that @jgreenepa , Jeff enable me on this razor. It has quickly become one of my favorites. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. I do really enjoy these automatic shaves. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Thanks Jim, not so much trying to get my money's worth out of it as it was not too much bigger than that to begin with. I just haven't found anything and I Mean anything that works as good as it and doesn't leave you white. I wish I knew what happened to them and where they're available. Have a great day!

I get it, Dave. I'm just pulling your chain. Have a great day and don't let that boss of yours push you around.

Oh I know and it sure looks like I'm trying to get my last penny out of something I didn't pay for. It's all good I just like to get as much press as I can because at some point someone's going to see this and say oh I know where that's at and I'll be able to stock up LOL. My boss is a jerk ;)

Not enough time for a straight shave this morning but need to get at least and excellent shave or better..... so..... Muhle 2011 R41 with Silver Blue was my choice. MdC with a few drops of lanolin is also a sure bet and used my first nice brush, a Simpson Duke 3 in best. The result was excellent +. A sprays of a true classic, YSL Rive Guache, put on the monkey suit and I am ok the door.

All Clubman this morning....yeah BABY! :happy108:

Colibri (Hummingbird) safety razor with 1.10mm plate.
    Feather blade
    Razorock 400 synthetic
    Pinaud Clubman shave soap
    Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion

It has been a very long time since I used the Clubman shave soap. I had forgot how good this soap is. I need to be using it more often. Whips up quick and does an excellent job.

The Colibri delivered another great shave. Three drama free passes with just a hint of alum.

A little witch hazel followed by the Clubman juice and this one was in the bag.

I hope everyone has a great day and is smelling this good. ;)

    Shavette Shave 130

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Parker SRX
    Blade: Perma-Sharp
Brush: Hembree Derlin Paragon Boar 25 mm
Lather: Declaration Grooming After the Rain
Aftershave: Declaration Grooming After the Rain
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Very nice shave with the Declaration Grooming After the Rain soap and splash combination. The Derlin handle looks beautiful with the boar knot, unfortunately, I was not able to use it as the knot plopped out of the handle as I attempted to whip up the lather. This is the second time with the knot that the silicone did not hold the knot in the handle. Never had this challenge before using silicone with any other brushes. I will try it with a different knot over the weekend.

The Parker SRX delivered a close and comfortable shave. I believe the SRX mini focus completed two months ago contributed to the quality of this shave. Early during the focus, the razor did manage to present it's challenges in the crimson department. NO MORE! You have to be mindful of the various quirks with the razor and respect the process. Three passes for the win.

Have a great day gentlemen. I will try to catch up.
