It is a very nice and slick soap. The reformulation is even my better than the base in Prarie Song.

Six, Six, Pick Up Sticks! Moving right along with my streak of OUTTA shaves. 0:50 again to load the brush(Crown King Spindle Duro Tali). Stuck with the CTS soap for a third straight day. No problems, no worries, no issues.Returned to Vetiver for the aftershave. Thank you, Monsieur Guerlain and @Primotenore . Vetiver isn't as cool as, say, Aqua Velva, Mennen Skin Bracer, but it comforts enough. Closed out with a couple spritzes of Swiss Arabian Shagraf Oud. Outta This World Excellent.

Thank you Blair :). I just thought that for "shaving cream" shaves, perhaps an asterisk is in order for scoring OTWE's.

    Facon Shavette
    Facon razor blade
Delrin handle brush with Dscosmetics knot
Mike's Natural Soaps - Wild Honeysuckle
    Stetson aftershave

I need to drag the Mike's soap out more often. Clint @clint64 PIFed this to me a while back and it is just a great solid performer. I really like this soap.

I have had the Facon shavette for about 4 months now and finally decided to give it a go. I bought it and a Kamisori style at the same time for $9.95 each including shipping. They each came with 100 half DE blades. I just checked on Amazon and they are 20% off at $7.95 each. Not a bad razor for the price and they do not look like that price of a razor except for the branding across the blade. :angry019:

So how did the cheap shavette do? Not bad at all. A very enjoyable two pass shave. I just need more practice but it will get there. Alum was warm in a few places but overall I am happy with the results.

A little witch hazel and Stetson and one was in the bag.

So would I recommend the Facon shavette? Yes.....for $7.95 including shipping and 100 blades how could you go wrong? It is a great razor.

I hope everyone has a great humpday!

You say "I really like this soap".....the complete antithesis of that kid who tried Williams and said "I really DON''T like this soap". I know...I keep bringing that up, but it's a classic video. Classic in the sense that you can't call it a "blooper" because he meant what he said.
