Since the month didnt go exactly as planned for me I decided to do a combination shave with a few of my MAYhem razors. Even the Berkeley carbon blade makes an appearance in the video. Theres also some blood spilled where the beard gave me a dry spot on the skin and I removed it. Hope you enjoy!

There is one in the Suffolk Plaza in East Setauket on Nesconset Highway. The Setauket Pasteria is in that center. There's another Sally's on CR 83 just north of the LIE in the shopping center adjacent to the LA Fitness in Farmingville.

    Way to go Patrick!

Pouring out the blood documents commitment.

I think I’d like the ‘kamisori’ style best.

Nicely done, thanks for putting it together for us.

Sunday shave: More German steel, this time a big 8/8, extra-long Friodur with full hollow grind. This baby is stainless and takes an excellent edge. MdC had some liquid lanolin added to ensure excellence and I finished off the shave with Creed Green Irish Tweed. An epic shave.

Monday back to work safety razor shave. First a big thank you to all who served and provided a free country for me to grow up in and a thank you in advance for Myles
@myles wilson who is about to serve his country.

MrEE brush was paired with some vintage Old Spice soap whose scent has sadly left the building. So I added some OS aftershave so I could enjoy the full Old Spice experience. The Rocnel if loaded properly delivers an easy shave, perfect for a Monday morning. An excellent shave and I am off to work.

Thank you Joe. I’m honestly not sure what’s wrong. None of the shaves with the R48 have been smooth. I’ll get it sorted out eventually.

Razor: Wilkinson Empire Model/Ever Ready 1914
    Blade: Wilkinson Wedge (?)/Gem (2)
    Brush: Rubberset 400/Oumo Boar
    Soap: Baron's Choice 1508.5 Project
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Aqua Velva
    Fragrance: n/a
    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 936

So I decided to give the Empire recently acquired a shave. The wedge looked/felt shave ready. I disinfected but I didn't strop it and had a decent 2 passes with it. A little tuggy so stropping may help or it may need a refresh on hones and stropping. I decided it wasn't up to the 3rd pass atg so finished with the 1914 which was buttery smooth. Really enjoyed the Wilkinson Empire and looking forward to getting it shave readier for future shaves. Still 1 unopened Wedge Blade in the box too. Have a fun day Everyone !!

    jluc smelling pretty

It wasn't bad. Because of the high water table we only had to go 4 feet. It was tougher to fill them because we really had to hustle. We would stand off to the side during the ceremony and before the end the Rabbi would signal us in to fill the grave. Once the grave was full he would place the grave marker and continue the ceremony. Four of us, two in front filling the grave and two in back moving the dirt to the guys in front.
