    Greetings,

    (Face & head shave.)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the Schick I1 Injector razor which was kindly gifted to me by a fellow member of TSR Shaving forum (UK) along with a fresh Schick Twin Injector blade, with it's magazine containing a few extra blades, the LEA classic shaving cream and last but not least the Parakeet from Carracas Postcard of which i will added into my collage glass clip frame of other postcards i have received from family & friends over the years that is hung on my kitchen wall.

I shall be using the Schick I1 & Schick Japanese Twin blade with all my Shave's throughout the week to adjust and familiarize myself with them.

The Lea Classic sensitive Cream i found superb. It provided a wonderful slick protection with no drying out issues inbetween each pass. The sandalwood scent is different comparing it to the Proraso sandalwood scent it's more of a light fresh sweet scent, with a nice mild menthol kick feels cooling which could be used all year round...I will purchase the matching splash in the near future.
What instantly impressed me about the Schick I1 was it's immaculate condition... Like the Schick G type i found my shaving angle which feels quite natural i instantly felt comfortable and at ease.
The audio feedback you get from the razor make's the razor sound more aggressive than it actually is.

The Schick Japanese Twin blades are incredibly smooth and efficient comparing them with the Parker SS & the Personna PTFE SS...Very impressive.
As i have mentioned many time's in my postings i love the audio feedback and feel you get from vintage SE & injector razors. It's a very satisfying sound and more importantly it's reminding me that i'm using the correct shaving angle.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report....Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd The Man Silver EdT to the chest & pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Super Saturday shave with your new Schick I1 injector razor Barry! Lea shave cream is very good based on reviews that I have read. Enjoy your day.

Showered and shaved for the music outing. Proraso blue pre-shave. Chiseled Face "Sherlock" the soap. Razor of choice was the Parker 87R with a Feather blade (2nd shave). I don't know what I did but, I managed to nick myself on my neck! I also got a couple weepers on my upper lip! Alum bar took care of them. I spent a week using the Feather DX and back-slid on my technique with the DE! Still a nice close shave with minor irritation. Pinaud "Clubman" to finish.

That Classic Shaving synthetic brush is nice. Some synthetics don't hold onto the cream very well but, this one does. Soft.

Nice shave Hogie. I have gotten weepers from a DE shave following a straight shave because the technique is different. With a straight, you're using a shallower angle and a lighter touch than with a safety razor. Shavers tend to add more pressure shaving with a DE razor when switching from an open blade razor which causes weeps, etc. Try using a lighter touch. A famous saying in the wetshaving community is to let the razor do all the work. You just have to get reacquainted to your DE razor.

:signs001: Joe...The Schick I1 was superb, my fondness for Injectors has grown rapidly since Jeff- @jgreenepa kindly kindly passed on the Schick G type earlier in the year of which i am eternally grateful for. The Lea shave cream was asurperb, it leaves a nice cooling post shave feel. Enjoy your day.

    DE Shave # 404 -

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Gillette SS Red Tip TTO (1959 E-1)
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Jayaruh 329 Boar
    Lather: Ginger’s Garden Snow Bliss
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Fantastic vintage DE shave with the birth year Gillette Red Tip. With the assistance of the Jayaruh boar brush I was able to quickly whip up a nice luxurious lather.

My usual three pass shave ensued. The result was an extremely close shave. The Gillette Red Tip is one of the milder DE razors in my den, however, once I learned the proper angle while riding the cap I have been treated to great shaves.

The post shave confirmed the quality of this shave with a silent alum report. A little witch hazel, balm and splash have me ready for the Jekyll & Hyde weather we are having. I am set for a busy day outside.

Hope you enjoy your Saturday gentlemen.

Incorrect assumption Paul. The Stirling 1 oz puck that I have in my den last me about 30 shaves. ;)

Fabulous shave with a nice description of the soap. For now I will resist. How many Milton EdTs do you have and what are they if I might ask?

    Saturday May 21, 2022 - MWF May

Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black injector with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label (3)
Brush: APShaveCo Elegant Emerald with APLuxury 24mm mixed badger/boar knot
Soap: MWF in Kent beechwood bowl
After: alum and water rinse; Thayers Witch Hazel and Polar Ice Booster

This morning's shave was simple, quick and good. Two passes to a near BBS: WTG everywhere for the first pass, then XTG on the face and ATG on the neck to finish. Alum was silent.

The mixed boar/badger knot worked well, as did the Supply Black Label blade on its third outing..

This was the same setup as what I used on Wednesday night, except I finished with a light spritz of Thayers Witch Hazel followed by one of Polar Ice Boost

Somewhere I saw a razor that uses the same Feather Artist Club blades as my DX does. Stiifer blade in a razor would be interesting to try out. What SE razors use these same blades?
