Meet our Pug, Isabella aka Izzy aka Bella. Yeah too many names, shes confused because my parents couldn't agree. This is her last week, at 8 weeks old. We just got her. She a devil when shes awake and an angel when shes asleep.
jbooth She's more of an upland dog than a duck/goose dog. We walked the fields & timbers many a mile some years ago, but she and I both sustained injuries a few years back that keep us closer to home now. Still, she's my best buddy and an ferocious protector of family.
I would get another Golden today, but my current job requires too much travel to get another dog and spend the time deserved with him/her. I would wager that most people that own Goldens will always have (or want) one. They absolutely steal your heart.
Here's the newest addition to the family. Her name is Violet. She loves the smell of shaving cream. If I don't keep my brush out of her reach, she'll claim it.
My dog's cowhides are here! Shes LOVES these. Much better than those China-made dog toys that dont even last a week.
Snowball and Draco. These two mean the world to me. Here's a better one of Snowball & Draco. You can actually see Draco in this one.
Another post got me thinking about pets so, I thought I'd see what the rest of you guys have. My buddy for the last 6 or so years has been a Manchester Terrier I rescued. His name is Chio Coltrane Pointer. and yes he is very much spoiled. lol
Here are my buddies: The big yellow Lab is my long time buddy Murphy. He's 8 and 110 lbs of lap dog that takes the word Retriever OUT of Labrador Retriever. The little brown one is Winnie. She's a Redheeler and Australian mix. She's still a pup and only 6 months old. Full of energy and has a tongue like an ant eater. She survived Parvo, which she apparently caught before the vet said she was old enough to vaccinate, so I call her the "lucky one". The last one is Mocha. She was rescued as a tiny thing when I found her on a hunting trip. She should be about 5 now and is great buddies with Murphy, but barely tolerates the puppy
This is our Rowdy. We had to have him euthanized a week ago today because of cancer. His sister, Luka, is still looking around the house for him.
Unfortunately, we can't do that. Luka has FIP, a contagious, fatal, feline disease. We can't bring a healthy cat into the house.
