This is Bentley, a full blooded American cocker spaniel. He goes everywhere I go, step for step faithfully. Started out as my wife's dog, now he won't leave my side.... still tolerates her, but no doubt he's my buddy.
This is a picture of Pride. He was a border collie, rat terrier mix. He passed about a year ago. He was the smartest dog, I have ever had the privilege to share the room with. There were two people that he would allow to pick him up, thankfully I was one of them. He passed at our farm, and is buried beside his daddy, John Henry, under the rose bush, just out the back door.
Yeah "Jack" was rescued from the next door dog`s mouth (twice) and is still paranoid after 10 yrs. Thank you for caring. Best wishes. Bill
update-Frank was taken home by his owner, but the hospital tells me there may be a new resident dog on the horizon.
Toby, 1/2 American Bulldog/1/2 Black Lab. 120lbs. Forgot to mention, he was the only male of the litter and his sisters all took after mom with Lab looks. He got dad's bulldog's face.
I've learned from watching my Mom's cat that when she gets paranoid, she doesn't recognize those who love her.
Cats are really independent. Jack will sit and ignore for hours. When he gets mad he attacks one of his toys. Bill

This is Russell. One day a couple of summers ago, I heard a noise in the garage. We had only lived here for a few months at the time. My wife came to investigate with me. She found four kittens, Russell, Cat, Clove, and Alex, perhaps two or three days old. Russell is the only one of those kittens that lives inside now. Clove, lives in our backyard. She comes in sometimes for an hour or so not often more. Alex, now lives with one of our neighbours, Cat, sadly, was hit by a car at only a couple of months old. This is Bad Patches. A few weeks after discovering the kittens this cat wandered into our living room and never left. She was pregnant at the time. Her five kittens, born in our basement, all found homes in the neighbourhood. Neighbours recognized Bad Patches as a stray that has been around here for years. We have seven more cats that frequent our back yard, some of them come in from time to time. Three of them are Clove's kittens. This is Bandit. He comes by now and then to eat cat food. Very noisy critter. The cats and kittens like to play with his tail. Amazingly, he doesn't mind them batting around his tail.
Athena, mom was a pregnant stray who friends took in and gave to us. She was the only one with black on her. Some kind of Terrier mix is my guess with long legs...........
