My Girls Here's Mrs. Boots (aka Boots Boots Gahli). Boots was a stray and was my mom's best friend. I think she's more hair than cat. She's 18 now and is the queen of the roost. Booter likes to have her belly scratched and is a holy terror around an open cardboard box. This is her "why in the he** are you taking my picture again" look: This is my other girlfriend, Cassie Ann Shmegman Pike Poirot. We rescued her from the pound about 8 years ago when she was just barely weaned. She's most likely a Malinois mix, or perhaps she's part Healer. Cass looks like a 38 pound Shepherd. She's all ears and legs (and is normally a huge bundle of energy). Our old neighbors used to call her The Circle Dog because she'd run as fast as possible in concentric circles of increasing diameter whenever anyone would walk down our alley. This is her other favorite thing to do (and yes, I sewed her collar scarf myself): Finally (just for fun), here are some visitors we had a couple of summers ago. I think they were very lost:
Finally I have something to add This is Lilly, a 1 1/2 year old shepherd/lab(?) mix that I adopted yesterday.
This is Sally. She loves to lick aftershave off my face. And she loves Wool Fat. I still have the teeth marks in my puck to prove it.
Greg, Lilly is beautiful! Good for you for adopting her. She looks really happy! Tom, Sally is a beauty too! That a great doggy smile!
Thanks Yeah, I would say that I'm spoiling her a bit, but I think she came pre-spoiled :happy102 Still, she's pretty good-natured and stable all things considered. I just need to do some obedience/doggy manners classes with her so I can feel confident taking her places. (dog parks, outdoor venues, etc)
Below are Isis (The Queen) and Olive (Zoom Kitty). While Isis is frequently still and easy to photograph, Olive must be caught in a brief cat nap to be seen as more than a blur.
