A sensational Grand Freeze!

This Junjie may be cheaper than dirt and it’s definitely on the milder as well as the minimal aggressive side but is it ever terrific and efficient particularly if it’s loaded with a sharp blade like a Russian Rapira. As always Rod’s Glacial Citron soap delivered wonderful lather that turned out so thick, rich, incredibly slick, I enjoyed the gorgeous citrusy scent, the menthol sensation hit me like two tons of frigid bricks, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Prep enhanced the soothing and moisturizing while the Glacial Citron aftershave with the same scent as the matching soap and the intense menthol kick made me smell and feel super duper. Three passes gave me another dynamite BBS shave!

Man oh man I have icicles in my face - even this L’Oréal Men Expert facial Wash has some menthol in it. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap has always been a top favourite of mine and I wish Rod would bring it back. The scent is so gorgeous, the tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather that whips up so easily, there’s lots of slickness as is the case like every Stirling soap, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep delivered its own special postshave care, and the Snake Bite aftershave has no discernible scent but it’s another menthol atom bomb. The Rapira blade gave me one last hoorah with a brilliant three pass BBS shave!

Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Menthol to the max this morning - this Glacial Strawberry Lemonade soap and aftershave are both so intense. The scent is absolutely gorgeous - to me it’s more towards strawberry but the lemon is still detectable, the tallow formula promotes such awesome lather with super slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is A1. The Prep and the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave were a perfect finish. Three passes gave me a mighty fine BBS shave that was lotsa fun even if I say so myself!

Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve last used the Glacial Black Cherry soap so I decided to go with it today. Man oh man I had tons of awesome lather that not only mega frigid, the slickness helped the Junjie/Rapira combo skate across my face, the lovely scent filled the bathroom, and the postshave feeling was so fantastic. The Prep delivered so much additional moisturizing and soothing with a nice cooling boost, the Snake Bite aftershave froze the crap out of me, and it felt heavenly to wear the delightful Bleu de Chanel which is my number one favourite fragrance. Three passes gave me an absolutely magnificent BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

If this kind of setup doesn’t freeze your face off then nothing will - my dear brother Rod’s Glacial MITA is three times colder than the regular version, it has the very same delightful tropical/citrusy scent, the lather explodes off the brush, it gets so rich, creamy, as well as slick and protective, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of icy cold bricks, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave were both a great way to finish up. My 50s Super Speed loaded with a brand new Rapira gave me a most pleasurable three pass BBS shave!

I've joined Fine, but didn't order Snake Bite. I'm sure it's a great product, but the name just gives me the creeps.

A lovely Grand Freeze!

Oh my God this setup is enough to freeze a polar bear out of the Arctic - it’s almost if not exactly as cold as any of the Stirling Glacials. My brother Fernando is such a soap and aftershave genius - his Peppermint Latte has a wonderful espresso/peppermint scent, the soap is tallow based so you get such amazing lather with tons of slickness as well as a monstrous menthol sensation, and soothing, gentle skincare. The Prep is quite mentholated also and it gives lots of moisturizing and soothing, while the Peppermint Latte aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns, and the menthol kick from it is off the charts - its beautiful scent seems to pair very well with the Lagerfeld Classic fragrance. Three passes did me proud - what a dynamite BBS shave this was!

It felt absolutely heavenly to smell the gorgeous scent of the Glacial Citron soap and aftershave and to feel the intense menthol sensation - the soap’s tallow formula gives the lather such wonderful richness, slickness, cushion, and protection, it’s so freezing cold, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as moisturizing. The Prep added its own special soothing, and the Glacial Citron aftershave gave me its overwhelming menthol kick along with a delightful blast of citrusy goodness. Finally the Bleu de Chanel’s magnificent fragrance and I was good to go. Three passes with a brand new Astra Green blade gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was so pleasurable!
