Oh my God, I think it’ll take all day for my face to thaw out - this Glacial Lemon Chill trio did a helluva number on me. The scent is so beautiful, the soap delivered tons of super duper lather that was so slick, the menthol sensation pummelled my face from start to finish, but the skincare of this stuff is A1. The matching balm and aftershave added to the frigidity. Finally the lovely Eau Sauvage fragrance (it’s lemony based so it pairs very well with this trio) and I’m good to go. The new Wilkinson blade helped to ensure a splendid three pass BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Holy Mackerel, if this shave was any colder my face would have disintegrated - the Glacial Mango Sunrise is one of the NICEST soaps I ever used in my life - the scent is MAGNIFICENT, its tallow formula promotes awesome lather with tons of slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is so wonderful. The Diana balm is unscented, it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing, and there’s a ton of menthol in it. The Snake Bite aftershave took the freeze to another level. Finally the lovely Aramis fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave to start off the week!

Oyyyyyyyyy my face is so bloody frozen - the Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave as well as the Diana balm did a helluva number on me. The scent of this soap and aftershave is so BEAUTIFUL, the way it lathers is amazing, there’s so much slickness like all of Rod’s soaps, the menthol sensation can knock a polar bear on his tukhis, and it’s so skin friendly. The Diana balm from Austria is unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the lovely scent, it’s frigidly cold, and it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing. Finally the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on with a killer cold menthol kick and the scent has great longevity. The new Wilkinson blade helped to give me a most satisfying three pass BBS shave!

Bone chilling would be an understatement the way this setup is - a better description would be LETHALLY cold. The Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave smell so beautiful, there seems to be trace of lemon or lime along with the cedar, the soap’s tallow formula provides superb lather with so much slickness, the menthol sensation pounds your face relentlessly, and the postshave feeling is A1. The Stoffel balm is another menthol atom bomb that’s so moisturizing and soothing, not to mention how frigid the Glacial Cedar aftershave is. Finally the Cool Water fragrance which is pretty darned nice and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a most delightful BBS shave - everything is in perfect order!

Menthol Monday’s Heavy Duty Grand Freeze:

Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash

This morning I transplanted the Bic blade into my cheap Junjie razor just to experiment and it seemed to work very well. Truthfully this Glacial Mango Sunrise soap is so wonderful - the scent is absolutely gorgeous, the lather is magnificent - not only is it so thick and rich, it’s so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation is LETHAL, and it’s chock full of skincare. The Stoffel balm added to the soothing and freezing while the Northern Elixir aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent. Another brilliant three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

OMG…….it takes a real menthol monkey like me to be able to use stuff like this because it’s so intense. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo’s scent is so delightful, the soap is a lather champion, the slickness is wonderful, the menthol sensation is so bone chilling, and the skincare is numero uno. The Diana balm is icy cold with great moisturizing, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave can leave your face almost numb from its menthol kick. Finally the Cool Water fragrance seems to pair well somehow with this soap and aftershave. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Wow, am I ever frozen to the max after using this setup - the Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave are so beautifully scented. The soap is such a pleasure to lather, it’s so slick, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of icy bricks, and it’s so gentle on my skin. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is also plenty frigid and it’s so soothing. Finally the Glacial Cedar aftershave laid another coating of icicles in my face. Three passes worked their magic and gave me a tip top BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

OMG, this Absolute Zero stuff……it’s MURDER. (If you can’t handle intense menthol like me!) However if you’re a hardcore menthol freak then this is your ticket to Paradise. The scent is so nice - it’s a blend of aquatic and peppermint notes, the soap is vegan based, it gives awesome lather with plenty of slickness, the menthol sensation feels like liquid nitrogen on your face, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable as well as soothing. The matching balm has the same scent and it’s so moisturizing not to mention how bloody frigid it is. Finally the lovely Cool Water fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me an unbelievably great BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

Guys, many times I’ve said that Rod and Mandy are not only two of the NICEST people anyone can find, they’re such geniuses when it comes to wetshaving products. Their Glacial Mango Sunrise soap is a gorgeously scented menthol atom bomb with awesome lather, the slickness is wonderful, and it’s so skin friendly like every Stirling product I have. The Stoffel balm is also a frigid delight, and the Northern Elixir aftershave also freezes like crazy - its scent is a nice blend of peppermint and eucalyptus. Finally the Invictus fragrance which I’m kind of on the fence about and I’m good to go - a couple of rounds of golf with some friends of mine today. Three passes delivered a beautiful BBS shave with plenty of icicles in my face!
