Menthol Mondays!! WooHoo!

My Menthol Monday shave was delayed until today, but it was worth the wait.

I've only used the SubZero test product on Menthol Mondays, and very sparingly at that, but I am running out.

Although this blade has weakened quite a bit and it is time to change it, I still received a very good shave. The Five Fives cream from Egypt has a perfect combination of menthol cooling and a very nice lemony scent. The Booster Polar Ice aftershave felt so good afterwards.

It's not Monday but after reading this thread you made me realllly curious. So I paid a visit to a small shop in my neighborhood and bought a Palmolive Menthol. Now thaaaat's something... mintgasmic :freezing

It's not as slick and protective and it takes more time to build up the lather as my usual TBS Maca Root but after all it costs a mindblowing 2$.

Oh... and it even made my cartridge shave a little pleasurable (my first DE is in its way)

The Lord stuff is not a face-freezer, just a nice mentholated brand, with just the right amount of menthol to be felt and enjoyed. The scent is gorgeous, the lather is so rich and thick, and it gives a great glide for the blade, and the moisturizing is excellent. I'm still in no mood for any extra fragrances, so the Aqua Velva was enough.

For my Menthol Monday I chose TBS Maca Root with a drop of menthol essensial oil... first lather had 3 drops and I had to rinse it and create another, it way waaaay too strong.

 

I used some Proraso Aftershave Splash. Goood stuff.

Like I said in my SOTD post, if a company puts menthol on the label I expect to feel a cooling effect, and that didn't happen with the Blix. :mad:
