It's amazing how the Rapira is still working so well, and giving me such nice shaves. The Godrej Menthol Mist cream is so frigid, that a cold water rinse can cause your teeth to chatter!

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww, is this Black Knight cream ever a face-freezer. It quite frankly can give TSD Iced Subzero some competition in the coldest cream contest. The Nesher Man aftershave is another Israeli face-freezer which I cannot be without--it's awesome. I unfortunately cannot show a picture of it.

 

Sri Lanka? Jeff, you find the most exotic coolest stuff. Where can I get myself some of this? Love Menthol, need menthol, the colder the better. I put
menthol crystals in my breakfast cereal-don't try that at home boys and girls.

 

Oyyyyy, Danny--is this stuff kalt, oyyyyyy, does it freeze the skin, boychik! :anifrozen A friend of mine was in Sri Lanka on a business trip, and he's also a traditional wetshaver, but he uses only the Godrej creams. He found the Black Knight creams in a pharmacie over there, so he brought for me 2 tubes. He told me the stores there are starting to import less of the Godrej and other Indian creams, because they want to make promotion of their own local stuff.

 

Today i decided to jus go with my go to stuff for a menthol monday (iced subzero set). I had a scare though! I had planned to use my Gem Jr instead of my 65 SS. When I picked up the mug that I keep all of my razors in the Gem fell out and went crashing to the tile floor. the top flap popped off and I saw it laying there in two pieces! I was bummed out to say the least. I decided to use my Slim that was loaded with a Voskhod instead. That turned out bad as well - I must have used that blade more than I thought because it was pugging and pulling. After the first pass my face hurt so much that I decided to load a new blade. So I loaded an Astra instead of another Voskhod and the remaining passes were great.

The Shave turned out better than it started and I did repair the Gem Jr right away after the shave - so I am happy about that.

Some of my menthol goo rubbed on my shampoo bar which I also washed my face with... Tingly!
A local shave cream I expected to be cold but wasn't, and a delightfully frost bitten splash with my Menth Head doctored Adidas AS. First time I've tried it since I mixed it up. It's AMAZING!!!

ooh I guess I menthol mondayed too just by chance. nothing major, just godreg menthol mist. really like that cream though. even smells nice

 

It was from the local farmers market, called MeMe cosmetics "Good Morning " but I mis-spoke calling it a cream, its a soap. Its supposed to be mint and tea tree but mostly it's the coconut base you notice. It's still nice, just needs the Menth Head touch. It was the docted AS that was amazing.

This shave was so enjoyable because the cream's lather was perfect, the menthol effect was frigid, and I was able to take my time. The Barbon aftershave is also a fantastic face-freezer, and it has a nice traditional barbershoppy scent that goes very well with Monsieur Givenchy eau de toilette, which is one of my top-favorites.
